Born and raised in the Sunshine State of Florida, Katareen is a homegrown country/folk singer-songwriter. As a recent graduate of Belmont University’s School of Music, Katareen is now cutting her teeth in Nashville’s premier songwriting scene. Encapsulating the small town essence, she brings a modern twist to a country soundscape. Her fearless approach to songwriting lives in the space between the contemporary folk zeitgeist of The Avett Brothers and the witty country storytelling of Kacey Musgraves. When not working on music, you can find Katareen exploring local creeks and admiring the flowers.
