David is a solo acoustic singer-songwriter. He was born and raised and currently resides in Nashville, GA. In June 2022, David walked away from his career as an attorney to pursue his dream of being a performing singer-songwriter after signing a publishing deal with Century Music Group in Nashville, TN. He recorded his first EP, Nashville to Nashville, last December. David's music is influenced by artists in many genres, most notably country, Americana, and Southern Rock. Jason Isbell, Morgan Wade, Zach Bryan, Eric Church, Drive-By Truckers, and Chris Stapleton are his biggest influences as a songwriter. Their ability to tell emotional stories that connect everyone listening to their songs is what he admires most about these artists and what he tries to emulate in his own shows.
